The fat around our LumaSlim Review belly's can be like a stone around our necks, we have to wear it everywhere and it's always in the way. It's usually the first fat to appear on our bodies and it will be the last, most stubborn fat to leave our bodies. Or so it seems. The truth is that most people loss belly fat before they lose fat anywhere else because deep, visceral fat is more metabolically active than subcutaneous fat, or fat just beneath the skin. It just doesn't seem that way because we focus on that belly fat and want it gone today if not sooner. Sound hopeless? It's not hopeless, but throw away the magic pills and turn off Wheel of Fortune for a while. The quest to get rid of that belly is going to take some effort. And some time. Why do we need to lose belly fat? Not just so you can look hot in a bathing suit. Belly fat has some serious consequences. Recent studies have found a correlation between abdominal fat and the development of colon cancer. Belly fat is known to be metabolically active and can raise certain hormone levels that can aid in the growth of cancer cells. Add that to the fact that fat around the belly area is known to put you at an increased risk of heart disease, diabetes and other cancers as well and looking hot in a bathing suit seems a little less important doesn't it? Heath concerns aside, we all still want to look good, so let's see what has to be done to get you looking hot in that bathing suit. First let's get rid on one myth right away. You cannot spot reduce only your belly area. Your body is not selective in from where fat is lost, you have to lose body fat from all over to lose fat from your belly. That's not a bad thing though, by losing fat from everywhere, you're going to look better overall, not just in your belly. Keep in mind that it's not just the fat you see on the outside, that fat all over your body is all around your body's organs too, making it more difficult for them to function properly. One of the most common comments that people say when they lose weight is that they can breathe easier. That is the direct result of losing fat from the chest area that was surrounding the lungs. Losing fat all over is healthy and that should be the goal.
