It is attention grabbing to StrictionD Review know that term diabetes means "passing through". The word mellitus means honey. Putting it in a simpler and sensible manner; high level of sugar in blood and urine are more like excreting honey with urine. Type 2 diabetes or adult onset diabetes is characterized by high levels of glucose in the blood of the person. These high levels of glucose are then spilled in urine. These high levels of glucose are liked with an increase in the amount of carbohydrates in the diet. You can be 100% healthy, feel fine, eat everything and do anything and wake one morning and suddenly feel terrible dizzy feeling like you are going to pass out. Hypoglycemia is a diet related condition that is caused by low blood sugar characterized by irrational behavior, phobias, nervousness, emotional instability, depression, confusion, insomnia, distorted judgment, mood swings, nasty personality defects, fatigue and heart palpitations. It is well said that the low blood sugar of today is the diabetes of tomorrow. It is important to identify early the symptoms of hypoglycemia so we can treat it before it becomes severe. A severe case, means that the sugar in our bloodstream is in such small amount that it affects the brain and we can lose consciousness and pass out. Eating foods that contain white sugar, white flour, dextrose, corn syrup or refined carbohydrates cause a spike on sugar levels and the pancreas in charge of producing insulin over reacts and suddenly secretes an excessive level of insulin in our bloodstream causing the levels of blood sugar to plunge below the normal level and the result is the low blood sugar symptoms. Also the liver stores the sugar or glucose that was not used and when there is a demand for extra energy after several hours after taking a meal, it releases glucose or active blood sugar to fuel the cells . At the same time the adrenals produce cortisol to break the fats and proteins to produce glucose but when they are fatigued there is low levels of cortisol in the bloodstream and this makes the task of the liver more difficult.
